Hey guys the new website discoverpointchurch.com is Live check it out and tell me what you think. By the way I could not have done this without Greg King, Lisa Collinsworth, David Collinsworth, the entire creative team and of course my wife who put up with me working on this thing all of the time. My Favorite Things

I spend a lot of the time on the internet looking for creative inspiration. I came across these videos from Granger church in Indiana. I love to see churches being this creative. Low production cost too.

Weekend Rap Up 7-27-08

OK so the Stone mountain Laser show got rained out for most of us. The weekend service did not. "For Instance" a youth band that normally plays over at Rockdale Baptist and is led by our very own Austin Studebaker led worship this morning. You were awesome thanks guys!

Philip then spoke on why we should not doubt God and how to overcome doubt. You would be amazed if we took a pole here in Rockdale county of how many people believed in God. Thanks to Everyone Who came OUt

To Stone Mountain and got wet. Hope those of you who stayed had fun. We were drenched all 6 of us. Thanks again to Joe and Jana for having a huge car that would fit all 13 people in it and thier willingness to fit 13 wet people in it.

For those of you who do not know the B=band for instance will be leading worship This Sunday! For instance is a group 20 somethings who are lead by our very own Austin Studebaker. This is a killer Group with a great sound if you have never heard them before please do your self a favor and come hear them.

Church Marketing Sucks turns 4

For those of you that don't know churchmarketingsucks.com turned 4 yesterday. CMS.com is a website who's aim is to educate, frustrate and inspire churches in all things marketing. They dared to ask the question "should the church market itself?". I love read this site and have been doing so for about a year. If you have never checked it out make today the day.
